Research Center Transformation

Newfane Charter 1762

The building you have known until now as the County Museum is undergoing a transformation.  Many of our exhibits and artifacts are being sent to Jail, which leaves us plenty of room for historical research.

The Society is the recipient of a generous donation from a Society member to purchase a new and upgraded scanner advancing the Society’s efforts of digitizing its archival collection.  The digitization process will allow greater public access to our archives without jeopardizing valuable and sensitive documents.

The Society will announce the opening of the Research Center once the 1936 building’s renovation has been completed.  In the meantime, feel free to contact us with any research questions you may have.
